What you need to open a PCU account
To become a member you will need to call into your local Credit Union with following documents:
- Photo ID - valid passport or driver's licence.
- Proof of Address - utility bill or bank statement dated within in the last three months.
- Your P.P.S. number on an official document.
- 5.00 to lodge into the account.
If you are not living in the area but are working in it and wish to open an account, please supply the three documents above and a letter from your employer on headed paper.
To open an account for a minor under 16 you need:
- Passport or birth certificate for the child.
- The child's PPS number on an official document.
- 5.00 to lodge into the account.
Plus the regular documentation for the adult - parent opening the account.
- Photo ID - valid passport or driver's licence.
- Proof of Address - utility bill or bank statement dated within in the last three months.
Your Credit Union lets people in the community come together to save and borrow money at low rates, and is operated on a not-for-profit basis, with surpluses being returned to members.
